Baby It's Cold Outside!
LARGER LEAVES.
Everything's been frozen solid all day today - it's SO bloody cold out there but things look so lovely. This blip was taken just before 2 pm.
Dunging was pretty much a no-no today, most of the dung's like rock and adhering to the ground - immovable. Just as well really as Tom's gone lame on a hind foot, entailing the rapid making up of a thick straw bed in the stable, getting him in, swapping his rugs so he doesn't sweat up and then giving him a dose of Bute in some food. It does seem to have improved somewhat over the hours, though that could be the Bute .... will have to see how he is in the morning ....
Then that silly little she cat, who follows me everywhere when I'm outside, managed to get herself trampled by one of the Shetlands - mercifully apart from frightening her out of her wits, she seems to have got away with it undamaged - phew!
Bute by the way is Phenylbutazone, a painkiller used for horses .....
Am NOT looking forward to driving to work tomorrow morning!
