Beach Sand Re-nourishment

After a severe hurricane as we had in September, there are often beach      re-nourishment projects to bring sand from the ocean to the beach.  It is a great time to walk on the beach and look for shells and fossils as the sand comes from a good ways out from shore and from a few feet deep as you can see by the position of the ships.  The extra shows some of the equipment being used on shore as well as a smaller vessel involved in the project.  I plan to walk there as soon as the weather allows which might be this weekend, but more heavy rain (maybe 4" for is) is  predicted.
