For David

I’ve been to London today as I needed to find my new desk and unpack.

I walked past the ice installation and they had replaced some of the larger blocks. I’m not sure how long it will be there for.

My desk wasn’t where I thought it was so it took me a while to find it.

It’s David’s birthday today. He’s been on my mind all day. The children, their partners and I have been out to dinner today to celebrate his life.

I try very hard to live life to the full. His death taught me to not put things off. Love your loved ones. Remember to tell them so.

And of course the view is the Christmas tree by St Paul’s
