On our way to a check up at Moorfields eye hospital. To all of you kind people who’ve sent me your best wishes in connection with my corneal transplant, and to whom Ioffer heartfelt thanks,I can report that it went well and my vision has jumped from about zero to being good enough to drive without a lens. As I can now see how badly the house needs cleaning, I no longer have any excuse.
