carlisle

Luke had to go back to Edinburgh today so I took him to the station very early indeed, and took the opportunity to catch the train myself and visit Carlisle. The cathedral is always very peaceful.

Very cold outside today..I'm hoping there will be clear skies tonight for a viewing of the Geminid meteor shower. 

Sarah goes back to London tomorrow so the house will be quiet again :-)
