Ducks!

An unremarkable photo but good news that the wildlife is returning. 

My new house was fields not that long ago and I'm hoping that the wildlife can be tempted back. So far the magpies have found the food I've put on top of my wall and have ventured onto the bird table. Nothing significant will happen though until I get some cover planted in the spring.

I was pleased to see these ducks having a paddle in the SUDS drainage pond this morning. There's plenty of duckweed for them to have a go at. We'll see if they're back tomorrow.

Dull photo mind, as it was taken out of the window from over the road with the long lens, as you'll see from the EXIF.
