Moon at 4.13pm

I love photographing the moon - always the same moon of course, yet never quite the same result. It is so much easier to get the detail in the moon when it is not yet dark. The sky looks black but it was actually still blue so there was less contrast between the sky and the brightness of the moon. I always shoot on manual - this was 1/100 at f6.4 and 400 ISO - on auto it used 1/25 at f6.4 and 800 ISO - 8x the exposure I used so the sky was blue but the moon totally burnt out.
