You know you've been waiting a long time when strangers start waving to you!

It was a long day today! Mom had to come to the hospital at 8:45 for a minor test and then we waited until she was taken in at 17:45! 68 operations took place just on that hospital floor!!!!!

Anyway, here's my Mom ready to go in. The doctor was so sweet, we had to take a picture together!

The op went well and Mom woke up without any problem. Her first words were:
"Is this it? Can I go now?" and was ready to get up and go...from what the doctor told me.

Then when I was allowed to see her, she asked: "Why am I in the hospital?" And her dimentia is brutally here! Almost made me cry!!! But I didn't!!!!!!

I was allowed to stay overnight with Mom in her room.
