I'm only a poor little lapwing

Well winter seems to have arrived today. Went to Barrons Haugh nature reserve for an afternoon walk. Took pics of frost covered plants and berries and brrrrr it was cold!!!!

Have chosen this one as todays blip because when zooming in to id the birds found a lapwing and wigeon amongst the mallards. Although as a photo pic quality not great, I think it looks more like a painting. So lonely lapwing wins over berries today :)
