Swabbed by Santa

The flight back to Edinburgh leaves at 07:40. So up early to check in.

I was picked randomly for getting swabbed (hands and shoes]. All the staff were in Christmas jumpers. And the security man was in a full Santa costume. I was clear and headed on regretting that photographs are not allowed in the security area. It would have made a fun blip.

The flight was a bit late taking off but even so it was still pitch black. As we rose through the clouds and headed south there was a lovely sunrise - see extra.

Once in the office just after 10 and into meetings. We were all in Christmas jumpers and there was a Christmas Bake off. Some excellent contributions but I judged the main blip as the best Christmassy entry. Lots of correspondence to catch up on and the budget to analyse. Then home to find the new alarm system fitted and a number of outstanding tasks addressed by the builder on the snagging front.
