The Picture Taker

Bingo

My Rotary Club hosts a holiday Bingo party at one of the local Care Centers every year. It is always a big hit. I got there and took my camera out of my bag and realized that I only had a 100mm lens. Small space, tons of people. Needless to say, it was challenging getting far enough back to get pics, so most are close ups. Nick would like that. However, when I got home, I realized that my f stop was 3.5. So if people were not on the exact same plane, some were out of focus. I was only saved because I had to be so far away from them. And they were mostly of only one person at a time. In the good news department, no photos were allowed of the residents, so it was easy to cut them out. Does this ever get easier to have the correct equipment and the correct settings?
