Valentine Orange
A dozen Red Roses, Ribeye Steak Diane (yes I know it's a bit 70's but I like it!), Apricot and Pistachio Tart and Rose Cava - Lovely. He came up trumps!
Other highlights of my day:
Whilst at the woodyard paying for our delivery of logs, I noticed how pleasantly warm the sun was, and the elegant steam gently rising from the architecturally amazing huge pile of compost they've made from peoples green waste. It even had it's own cliff face that must have been about 20 odd feet high - wish I'd had my camera! But it wouldn't have been very romantic.
Having bought a Monkfish and prepared the different cuts for the freezer for the first time, the piles were: chunks, fillets and no idea what to do with this strange sort of skin but not skin stuff is, I'll bag it and cook it and see if it's edible! Hands stank of fish for the rest of the day!
Whilst my husband prepared our lovely dinner I experimented photographing my Gin and Tonic with a chunk of lime in it. Yes thats it in the background. The results were very interesting. Shame we can't put more photo's on each day.
All in all a mixed bag of day!
