A dull day with a cold wind and the streets of Ambleside were very quiet. I was out for a hair cut first, then home for a while and out again to post a parcel. I was the only customer in the Post Office. 

With a freezer defrost scheduled for the afternoon I thought I'd better take a few phone snaps while in the village. Don't look large or you will see the dots in the sky ......  at first I thought they were birds but then I realised they are the Christmas lights.
