A Spot of Decorating

We went to a Christmas Tree farm today (complete with live reindeers and turkeys!) to buy the Little Misses their own tree to decorate.
Miss E chose it and then they spent the rest of the afternoon hanging as many decorations on it as they could lay their hands on.
We didn't tell them it would all have to come off again so that Mr K could put the lights on it!
It stopped them being quite so in the way and downright irritating helpful with all the other decorations around the house!
I'm a bit particular about my tree and can't be doing with a four year old and a two year old chucking stuff at it and hanging five things from the same branch. All down one side. Near the bottom.
Call me a control freak......

So it's been a productive day. The house is relatively clean and tidy, the trees are up and mostly decorated, and all the beautiful ornaments and candles etc are dotted around the place.
I love love love getting it all out. All the treasures that hold so many memories.
Along with the one or two dozen more things that I buy each year to make new memories.......
