Gin Lane

I wasn't sure about posting this image. Its not pretty, and it is sad.
We spent the night in Manchester (wife had gigs see yesterday) and went to two clubs. We also spent some time wandering about in the town and this sight was by no means unusual. More or less every street had someone laying on the pavement, not a homeless vagrant but just someone out on a Saturday night. ~Now I'm not one to judge, and I have ended up in this position more than once. But the thing that was really sobering was that this is accepted as a normal way to end your evening.
