Little Jack Frost

It was hard knowing which picture to Blip from today. We woke up near Newcastle where it was very cold and frosty. Met up with Pip and Ad and their little boy for a late breakfast and took a short stroll by the river before heading back down the motorway to home, to find it was actually pretty frosty here too.

I took quite a few pictures, but thought I'd take a break from into-the-sun-shots-of-trees that I seem to post a lot of, and go for a close-up instead. Looking down can be as delightful as looking up, sometimes.

I do love frosty mornings. The little Gs are going to need some persuading I suspect - Littler G in particular found the underfoot conditions quite alarming.
