A blustery day

Pouring rain and wind - not a day to be taking photos outside, but I managed to get under a bit of shelter to take a shot of Seahorse in the harbour.
G and one of our friends have birthdays later this week, so I took them out for lunch.  She's off to Vancouver on her actual birthday.  A delicious lunch, a glass of wine, special coffees for dessert, good conversation, laughter - a lovely way to celebrate together.  G and I will go for dinner on his birthday.
The lights are flickering and I wouldn't be surprised if the power goes out, so I'd better post this quickly!
