And so the gang arrived. Alice first, just after 3pm bearing a gift of a beautiful little holly tree. Perfect future blipfodder ;-))

Jo and Dot arrived next, then Eileen and finally Marie.

Quick catch up over coffee. No alcohol till 5pm so we gorged on mini mince pies containing cointreau to tide us over. As soon as the clock struck five it was Kir Royales all round. Mmmmmm that hit the spot.

Had our usual great night of hysterical laughter, we well as putting the world to rights. David became an honourary girly and joined us as we ate our Indian takeaway the things he'll do for food! but beat a hasty retreat when the conversation turned to the serious matter of our views on the 50 Shade of Grey trilogy. My sides are still sore from the laughter that ensued over that subject!!

Finally crawled to bed around 2am. Oh I love those girls! :-))
