High tension

Why is Theresa May still prime minister? Criminally irresponsible. The Brexitshambles is well beyond laughter now (although I did have a giggle at her getting locked in her car while Angela Merkel looked on patiently -- no freedom of movement for her).

Anyway, enough of Brexit. Tuesday walk today. It was a lovely day for a walk, but it was short, undemanding, and not particularly scenic (views over the autoroute). Highlights: this pylon, kin to my usual pylons, the tomb of Henry Bataille (previously blipped), and crossing the motorway by means of Nicole's "secret passage" -- a long, pitch-dark culvert just tall enough  not to bang your head.

Had friends G, V, S and R round last night to help us empty the freezer -- we cooked the remaining organic pork joint, served with roast potatoes, S's amazing Yorkshire puddings, carrots, baby leeks, and lots of gravy, followed up with cheese and a lovely tarte aux noix served with salted caramel ice cream.
