Yonder Crow

A wonderful book of poetry translated into German and beautifully presented .Re the author, I'll leave a link .Hard to imagine living where writing and opinion has led to flogging and imprisonment .There's a fabulous Persian Book Shop  in Kantstraße and here I saw the above  .You can tell why I was attracted by the cover but the poetry is varied and beautiful. As for the owl with three baby owls ..this was a gift to me from the owner of the shop , an author himself. His collection of these birds is huge and astonishingly beautiful. Many Iranians see the Owl  as a bird that watches out and takes notice as it is intelligent..They advocate that we should do likewise or dictators come along and we have not taken note ...One learns so much each day .Value freedom of speech and preserving it .Value this amazing world and all life forms .Easy to close our eyes whilst we are OK...and say Sure but what can we do . Answer ..A lot ...
