This is a quote on a ceramic plate that hangs in my friend's dining room.

The drive through the forest ends at my oldest friend's house. It is about 7 miles from me but still in the same township of Oxford.
The friends went for several days north to Albany to see their granddaughter perform in a play and a choral group.
I volunteered to go out to feed their spoiled cat and sit with it for a while with her. I got some enjoyable reading done.
