The Force

A busy day with the visitors. Well, I say a busy day but actually it was a day of busily slumping on the sofa and falling asleep, making food and drinking tea. That kind of busy. But Ewan had to finish his homework for Monday.

A weird exercise. Pick a scientist who made discoveries about forces from Galileo, Isaac Newton, Archimedes and Johannes Kepler and then prepare a presentation about them for the class. I think I was already studying Astronomy at university before I'd heard of Kepler. Science usually skips from Copernicus straight to Newton. Anyway, it's hard work translating those laws of planetary motion into language a nine year can process.
