Banished

On account of my streaming nose, I was banished from the kitchen this evening at Food Club, something that I found fairly difficult to deal with. I am a control freak but at least I can freely admit it. We forced some bug-busting greens down our young people in the form of an avocado, spinach and basil pesto.

I wasn't supposed to be eating any because Abi was at home busy preparing an Asian feast for us. However, in the area of food I have little (read: no) self control and therefore I had about the equivalent of three dinners tonight.

Grace came over for our feast and it really was delicious. However, I found myself truly outnumbered and had to sit and endure some harsh criticism of our English cuisine. I really didn't have much in the line of defence.
