Who, me?
Spent today watching Rwandan 2nd division football with my friend Zain and Augustin, the club President. We were supporting SEC (Sports Empowerment Club), a team made up of 16/17 year olds that the club finds playing in the streets or in other places as children. They are brought to the academy, given a full secondary education and a home, and provided the opportunity to play professionally. Those who don't make it have a seconady education, which can be a big deal around here. Several players now play in Europe and for the national team, and the national manager was there watching today!
The game finished 1-1 at the end, and I came home to a relaxed evening of dinner and fun times.
