What a lovely day:-

to Get Your Eye in

This photograph was taken of a Manx Tholtan called Park Mooar.  It stands at about 750 feet above sea level and overlooks the northern plain of the Island. It is an upland farmstead and was last occupied in the 1930's.

At one time there was a mill here.  This would probably have milled oats.  But it is surprising how these old buildings change over time.

The mill race is visible and so are the remains of the parallel walls that would have supported the wheel.

Can you spot where the shaft of the mill wheel would have gone in to the wall?
