From the beginning

From the beginning of December we usually get full into the Xmas mood.
This year however, we are not quite there yet.
For the first time since, well goodness knows how long, we have bought an artificial tree. Since we put in a wood burner the room gets very hot, and we figured that the needles on a real tree would last not a couple of days.
Plus we don’t want to be picking them out of our new carpet for days, weeks, months etc.
