Snooze Time

Wetlands Bird Survey today. We had a pleasant day for it, and it was nice to get out walking after sitting indoors all weekend - as interesting and enjoyable as it was. Last month there were only 2 Mandarins on the reservoir but there was an influx of a few more today. This ménage à trois was snoozing in the early morning sunshine.
I found a nice Yellow Brain Fungus by the path - it's parasitic on a crust fungus. See extras.
