Before the Hail

Today was the second day of the meteorological winter and winter it was.

The day started with hailstorms and ended the same way, but there's one great advantage... It creates dramatic skies and contrasting bright light.

Driving back home it was pretty obvious that we were just moments before the next shower would hit us.
