Starfish Cactus Flower

I had an uneventful flight to Phoenix today and was happy to meet up with my husband who has been away for over a week.  The winter sun and temperatures here are just exquisite. We are staying at a lovely resort in Scottsdale, which is the wedding venue, making it all quite easy. 

This is a very pretty cactus flower which is notable for its noxious smell., so they tell me.  I didn't put my nose to it to find out.
