Five Hundred Blips!

Little man had his piano recital (first ever, after four months of lessons). We bought and decorated our Christmas tree. I felt like I was getting sick, but hopefully I won't go there...

AAAND here it is, ladies and gents, a blip day pic. We have this really cool ornament of an origami crane placed in a clear ball. Crane for good luck, long life, and prosperity of all sorts. It must be working, because each and every day I pause and think how lucky I am, what a great life I have, and how many wonderful people I know.

I took a lot of pictures during the last 500 plus days. Some were mediocre, some were plain bad. Some, however, were REALLY good!!! To me, the magic of blip (aside of you, dear blippals) is of the ordinary kind: the more picture you take, the better at taking pictures you get. Some reflection is necessary, and comments from fellow photographers help immensely (both of the encouraging kind, and commenting on technique). But the improvement would be very slow without the sheer volume of pictures taken. I can now tell my students with a straight face: the more you do, the better you get. I know it for a fact.

Blippals, it's an honor flying with you.
