Wonderland

My plan for this evening was to go for a swim and then meet Dom for a drink but in the end I left work slightly later than planned and then the traffic on the M6 was awful, so I missed my swim but had the compensation of a bit of time with the Minx and miniMinx.

After that, I wandered into Chorley to meet Dom at the Ale Station. The town is all set for Christmas, including some kind of Winter Wonderland (from what I could make out as I hurried past).

As ever, I had a splendid evening with Dom. Us meeting up for a few glasses of wine every couple of weeks has been one of the lovely things to come out of 2018.
