Winter evenings
We had church in the new venue today - lots of neon pink lighting, ha! It was a gin bar before becoming our meeting place.
Home via the British supermarket to buy a bucket (literally) of mincemeat. We're going to take some mince pies up to Sa Penya on Tuesday, who knows what they'll make of this British delicacy!
The kids and I took a quick wander to get a blip...wonderful to see Ricardo's spot empty as he's been given 2 months free accommodation near Nude!!!! On the other hand sad (heartbreaking really) to see a local lady who's life has been ruined by heroin...she was looking desperate tonight. The kids and I went to give her food and were going to grab one of the blankets, but she'd gone when we got back to her. She's almost always in another world. So so so sad to see.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Ricardo being off the streets for a bit.
2) Asha being keen to come take a photo with me tonight.
3) Wise, encouraging and kind friends on WhatsApp today.
