Manifestation

This bunch was outside Notre Dame in anticipation of today’s ‘manifestation’ - plus soldiers with weapons at the ready on the other side of the square. Didn’t seem to be too many signs of danger from the crowds of visitors, other than over-enthusiasm for the midday bells. The violence was centralised around the Champs-Elysées, but the shops and banks were closed and boarded throughout the city
