Poor poor Heron!

I heard a lot of screeching from the seagulls in the Marina, where the visiting Yachts go, and I could hardly believe my eyes, they were swooping down on this Heron to make him go away. It worked I stopped to see what was going on, took one very quick shot and off he flew. He was just standing on the pontoon and not doing anything wrong. Try Large
I was just saying to Baron yesterday that I hadn't seen many Herons around the coast lately ;0)
Can anybody tell me what this is? I though it might be a Hedgehog gone to seed hahaha!
