Condemned

This rather attractive, well-maintained old house will be bulldozed in the near future if developers get their way. It is presumably much easier (and cheaper) for them to flatten it (plus a nearby, equally attractive, Victorian school building) than to incorporate it into their grand plan. Their grand plan is actually quite good, but a bit of diversity in the urban landscape is usually a good thing, and these old buildings could provide it. Seems very wasteful.
