Grey heron III

This morning I got more shots of the heron down by the river.  He is such a splendid bird how could I resist?  Here he is ruffling his feathers and looking particularly ferocious (and cute).  And, yes, the sun shone through his feathers and the clouds and though it's grey now (middle of the day) it should fair up again later.

Anyway, I thought I'd post early as I've just finished a backing up session on the computer and must now settle to writing Christmas cards and even - heaven forbid - wrapping some presents.
