Sliver of moon

They’ve dressed the lighthouse up for the holidays - guilding the lily, I’d say. But here it is with a tiny sliver of moon above, if you have a magnifying glass! A warm day today with lots of beach activity, I love how some of the children can’t tear themselves away, even after the sun has set and their parents are cold and ready for home (extra).
I was hoping for an exciting spaceX launch from Vandenberg this evening, but after I’d set everything up and sat in the dark on a pile of damp sand and seaweed for half an hour, the launch was scrubbed. Next time, I should take a chair as well as a tripod!
