Get a Grip

The woodworking class went well. We finished early and all four participants went home with a box that just needed some finishing touches. The only thing I forgot was the graduating class photo — expletive deleted.

Back at home, I did a little more work on the box you saw in my last blip. I’d cut the bottom piece too thick, but it was then too small and too thin to safely resaw on the bandsaw. Planing was the solution, but how to hold it?. The answer is in the photo.
