Street musicians...

In Manchester.

I think the WHOLE of the Northwest travelled to Manchester on my train today. Well that's how it felt- we were packed in like sardines and had to pass a few stations without stopping to pick people up. I felt sorry for them but there was not an inch of spare room! I felt sorry for the guard on the train - his neck would have been on the line if there had an accident with so many people on board! (Pun intended!)
The problem seems to be due to a cut on local services so that the only available trains on Sundays are every 2 hours between Manchester and Sheffield.
Ah well, mission accomplished and now on our way home!!
