Drop Off

Left the car for its annual trip at Citroen Classics. It’s a rolling restoration really, with some parts better than when I got it, and some needing explored. This time, the Russian roulette of removing the sill covers to see what bodges were done when the car was previously prepared for sale. Not a great deal of hope that I’ll be getting the cosmetic bodywork done this time unless both sides are perfect.

Interesting to see the shell of Darrin’s car that is being restored in the workshop after their fire earlier this year. It will be even more beautiful when finished, although I’m not sure I could live with the colour (bright orange). Meanwhile, there was a nice Slough Traction Avant outside beside my DS in a similar colour. Hopefully see the car again in January.
