Portrait of a Pigeon

We needed some coffee so decided a trip to Char was in order and and Jane had some vintage material to take back to the new pop up shop. Shall we go the long pretty way of the short way along the road? So we went the longer way; across the fields in the sun under blue sky. It was chilly but a lovely walk. The short way is about 4 miles there and back but the time we have wandered through the town and made a short detour for coffee at the Art Cafe we walk about 8 miles going across the fields and down to the river.
Winchester was heaving. Traffic snarled up through the one way system. On top of the Christmas Market today is the Antiques & Collectables Market. Lots of interesting stalls and loads of people browsing.
Jane is now marking, seems like a full time job at the moment.
I have been through the photos I took. After cropping this (in the original I managed to cut off its legs, duh), I decided I liked this the best. It was taken against a background of the river Itchen but that has been lost in the crop.
