Jesuit church: Lucerne backblip
This imposing church on the edge of the river is called St. Francis Xavier. The onion shaped domes can be seen from many different parts of the town. It's built in the baroque style. The proximity to the water's edge gives many opportunities of beautiful reflections.
Another cloudy sky, but the lights bring in warmth and colour to the scene.
Extras:
- The same church in the late afternoon with all the hanging lights in the trees looking so pretty.
- This capture was taken just as the blue sky was starting to push the clouds away. I like the silvery tones, thanks to the lighting. You can see the edge of the covered bridge on the upper left of the frame as I took this from the longest part of the bridge.
