No flowers

I thought I'd go down to Carkeek Park today, to see if there were any actual flowers to be found.  Unsurprisingly, there really were none.  However, several plants had a flowery appearance due to the frost that had formed.  

That was the highlight of my day, which I spent catching up on a host of household chores.  For some reason, I could not make my mind remember that it was actually Friday, not Saturday as I thought. That led to some surprises over the course of the day.
