Fishface

As my brother will be away climbing mountains in Africa with his sons on Christmas Day, he decided to surprise Mum by flying up from Melbourne yesterday, I drove down and he took us all out to dinner to Fishface.

It's been shockingly warm, but the temperature dropped a little and we sat out on the pavement in Darlinghurst and watched it all go by as we had this fantastic meal.

He's maddeningly busy, especially at this time of the year, so it was an especially lovely and generous thing to do.

P.S. This is what Mum and Mark had - Atlantic Salmon fillets, encased in a mushroom roulade and thin pastry, awash in a light and foamy sorrel sauce and garnished with globules of salmon roe.
