Day One of summer, and it was 30-something degrees celcius. Could have been worse - if only it hadn't been so humid!

"Dear Santa,

I would like air conditioning for Christmas....or at least a ceiling fan."

I predict that by the time Christmas Day arrives and I'm up in North Queensland with the clan, I am going to be fighting the neighbour's labrador for the right to lie in the breezeway and hog the garden sprinkler.

Achieved nothing today - so failing anything else I decided to amble up to the park for an evening view.
