Where's Louis?

I don't know who was more excited to see the snow this morning - me or Louis, he absolutely loves it!

So we got our coats on and went out for an early morning walk across the fields. It was so peaceful with the snowflakes falling, birds singing and church bells ringing in the distance.

Louis found a pine cone so we had a great game of chase. If he didn't have his coat on you probably wouldn't spot him in this pic apart from his brown eyes, nose and the pine cone.

I took lots of scenic photos but I haven't had a Louis blip for a while, and love this shot of him leaping in the snow with his ears flapping.

Anyway, we're going out for Sunday lunch now to the Bivouac de L'Empereur - it's a perfect day for sitting by the roaring log fire, and I may even put the Christmas tree up when I get home :-)
