Mr Blue Sky

Popped to Wetherby first thing to get a few bits form the supermarket. Back home made another batch of soup - curried carrot and red lentil. Should tide us over for a while, there is three litres of the stuff!

Out with Finlay for a decent walk - over an hour - and we made it home just as the heavens opened. I liked this view of the line of trees along the Bramham Park Estate boundary - looking good in the sun with the blue sky behind (apologies, but no time to remove the unsightly power line). This is looking north east, the village is in the far distance on the right just the other side of the A1(M) which is hidden in a cutting.

After lunch I set about catching up on the neglected housework / tidying - as we have visitors staying on Saturday night and at the moment the 'spare room' is set up as a sewing room!
