Mistletoe

It rained heavily overnight and during the morning, so it was inside jobs today. I spent a lot of time writing Christmas cards, everything is now covered with glitter including my desk, mobile phone and clothes.

Today’s picture is of some mistletoe, which is on the tree in the marsh; this tree is nearest my garden. Last year there was one small bunch, now there are at least these two and possibly some smaller bunches.  I am using it as my blip to record it progress over the years. Mistletoe is a parasite and kills trees, but this tree already sheds its branches when we have high winds.
