Sunrise and ice

It really comes as a pleasant change when you are spoilt for choice with a blip (and it's only 10:30 am!).

Looking out of the window at 7:00 am I just new it was going to be a good sunrise. A hard frost had frozen over the canal at Pelsall Common, the clouds were beautifully underlit by the sun, all was well in the world.

I also took shots of two swans swimming in the one area of the canal not frozen over, under a nearby bridge. And then there were the ice formations on the leaves.

All in all a very enjoyable couple of hours.
