Jesu Fili Mariae, Abbey of Regina Laudis

A beautiful place full of wonderful people.

After a 4 hour drive J and I were welcomed with great warmth and shown to our guesthouse. After Vespers we were given a simple supper to take back with us. A pail of chicken broth along with a basket of freshly baked sourdough bread, homemade Bethlehem cheese, green salad and a tub of preserved peaches. Fresh laid eggs and milk straight from the cow were waiting in the fridge. Simple and gorgeous.

It’s clear that Beverly had an impact on this community, as well as vice versa.
